Pixel Art Tutorials

Welcome to the tutorials section. I know it takes time to learn something but it takes even longer if you have nothing or noone to teach from and that's why I'm releasing tutorials for pixel art. I found out that there aren't many tutorials around but I know lots of people that are willing to take on the path of pixel art, so I'll be more than happy to share my knowledge with others.

Tree Stump - Tutorial
Most of the games includes nature, and there is hardly a nature without trees and other plants. This tutorial will try to get you close making part of a tree - cut tree stump.

Rock - Tutorial
In this tutorial, you'll learn how to make simple rock to put in your game (or wherever else you want). I also say few words how to make rock that is blended with ground graphics.

Brick Wall - tutorial
This tutorial will teach you how to make wall built from bricks - it's useful if you're making houses, walls, egyptian temples etc. another interesting thing here is outlining style that is used for bricks. Tutorial is short an simple, it won't take you much time to fly trough.

Shield - tutorial
Many games has heroes that wields shields or has shield in their inventory that is represented with icon. Either way, you'll need graphics for it, so here is short tutorial, that will explain how to draw simple and yet beautiful round wooden shield.

Foliage Bush - tutorial
Leaves, plants, grass...that's quite troublesome part for every pixel artist, but no worries. I have simple solution for all the fears called "Leaves copy" - at least I call it that way. Here you will learn how to make small bush / bunch of grass, which can be used for larger plants or even trees.
